I spent 9 months at Keppie Design Architects in Edinburgh. A firm that focusses predominantly on healthcare, education and commercial architecture. I was fortunate to be involved in a range of projects from conceptual diagrams and visualisations to presentation documents and site visits. Drawing the technical details for two projects, one timber, one steel, was the most informative part of the placement. I used Microstation for all CAD drawings as well as the Adobe Suite and Sketch Up for visualisations and presentation material. I followed one project from Planning Stage through to Practical Completion.
